Synopsis
After a long plane ride,
Satoshi finally
arrives at Miare City in the Kalos region. Though his initial plan was to challenge the Gym of
Pansy's sister, a quick phone call reveals that the Gym happens to be closed for now. Instead, Satoshi decides
to challenge the Miare City Gym, which is located inside Prism Tower. However, he is rejected due
to not owning any badges, and is thrown out of the Gym. Citron and his sister Eureka, who were passing by, saves Satoshi and Pikachu from crashing into the ground. Satoshi and Pikachu quickly
become friends with the two siblings, and they battle against Citron and his Horubi. But the
battle is interrupted by Rocket-Dan, who intends on capturing Pikachu and Horubi. Satoshi and Pikachu
attempt to stop Rocket-Dan, but Rocket-Dan's Sonansu with it's Mirror Coat turns out to be too
much of a challenge for them. Just then, a Keromatsu, who was watching the battle from a
distance, jumps in and takes a reflected Electro Ball attack for Pikachu.

Synopsis
Satoshi takes Keromatsu, who
was injured badly in the battle against Rocket-Dan, to Professor Platane's lab to be treated. Satoshi learns about Keromatsu's
disobedient nature, and how each of it's past trainers had to return it to the lab, since it wouldn't obey
their commands. While Satoshi and the gang go outside to take a look at some Pokémon, Rocket
-Dan, disguised as researchers enter the lab in hopes of stealing some Pokémon. They launch a
collar at Keromatsu, but Gaburias jumps infront and takes it instead. However, the collar
apparently malfunctions, and Gaburias starts to go out of control, and begins rampaging around
town. Satoshi, Pikachu and Keromatsu follow Gaburias, and eventually find themselves high up on
the Prism Tower.

Synopsis
After saying goodbye to
Professor Platane, Satoshi, Citron and Eureka head to the nearest Pokémon Center to register
Satoshi for the Kalos League. Then the 3 of them decide to travel together to Hakudan City for
Satoshi's first Gym Battle. While they travel through a forest, the gang encounter a wild Dedenne.
Eureka, drawn to Dedenne's cuteness, asks her brother to "keep" it for her, until she is old
enough to have her own Pokémon. But just as she was about to give Dedenne a berry, a wild
Yayakoma swoops down and takes the berry, scaring the Dedenne away. Satoshi chooses Pikachu
to battle the Tiny Robin Pokémon in order to catch it. However, Keromatsu, depite Satoshi
ordering it not to battle, forces it's way and attacks the wild Yayakoma.

Synopsis
Satoshi and the gang are
taking a break in the woods, on their way to Hakudan City, when the Dedenne they encountered
before, suddenly appears before them. Determined to catch it this time, the gang chase it, but it
hides inside a series of underground tunnels. The gang send their Pokémon underground to search
for Dedenne, and Pikachu finds it. However, as Pikachu tackles the small rodent Pokémon, both of
them are sent tumbling down the tunnel and eventually land below a cliff. There, the 2 Pokémon
are spotted by Rocket-Dan, who tries to capture them. After being chased and attacked by
Kojiro's Ma-i-ka, Pikachu and Dedenne fall into the river. Rocket-Dan pursues the 2 Pokémon, but
are sent flying away when their rubber raft collides with a rock. Pikachu manages to pull Dedenne
out of the river, but Dedenne falls unconscious.

Synopsis
Finally in Hakudan City, the
gang, lead by Satoshi, hurries on to Hakudan Gym. On the way, they meet a photographer who
shows them the way to the Gym. At the gym, Satoshi's former travelling companion and older
sister of the gym leader, Pansy, was there to greet them with her Erikiteru. Soon after that, the photographer who showed them the way shows up at the gym, and is revealed to be Viola, the Hakudan Gym Leader.
After looking at some of the photographs Viola took, Satoshi is ready to begin his
first Gym Battle in the region. He uses Pikachu against Viola's Ametama. It was an almost equal
match up at first, but Viola commands Ametama to freeze the battlefield, which greatly reduces
Pikachu's mobility, and causes it to lose. Meanwhile, Serena, who came to Hakudan City just to
meet Satoshi, arrives at the Gym, and finds Satoshi in the midst of his Gym Battle.
